Fitomed

Fitomed is a NEW application developed to improve a fast method to acquire roots and shoots lengths from seedlings or plants. This application is specially designed for bioassays using petri dishes, or hydroponic cultures, but also it could be applied to other methods.

FITOMED only requires a digitizer for PC. Only you have to do is to straight seedlings or plants over this digitizer aligning all of them to a middle line. In this way roots and shoots will be measure only with a touch at their tips using an electronic pencil. Measures expressed in millimeters  will appear on your PC screen. When you have finished with all measures you can save it with an unique code that will be used in statistical treatment with an special data sheet available with this application.
